Highlights
Stunning views of Salisbury Crags, the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the Scottish Parliament create a spectacular cultural, historical and political background setting.
Facilities
Biosphere
The biosphere is located below the main reception and can seat 300 theatre style or 128 for a dinner with a full stage set. The suite can be separated by a partition into 2 rooms. As a whole suite, a data projector, screen, PA system, 2 hand held and 2 table top mics, induction loop and a technician are included in the room hire cost. The room can also be used for dinner events.
Ozone
The Ozone is a unique space looking onto the Salisbury Crags. The space can be used for small receptions, dinners and meetings. The Ozone has direct access to an outside area with views over Salisbury Crags.
Stratosphere
The stratosphere is the main entrance point. It is covers a vast area and lets in a lot of natural light due to the walls of glass. This area is ideal for receptions or banquets. The space can hold 1200 for a reception, 600 for a dinner and 550 for a dinner dance.
Break-out Rooms
In addition there are smaller meeting rooms. The Salisbury suite is a self contained conference suite with reception area. It can be partitioned into 3 separate meeting rooms. As a complete room, 40 people can be seated theatre style. The rooms can also be split into 2, to hold 12 people in each side. The Boardroom is another meeting space that seats 14.
There are disabled toilets on level 2 and all levels are accessible by lift.

Facilities
Pentland Auditorium
The stunning 1200-raked seating Pentland Auditorium offers event organisers the utmost flexibility, transforming into 3 separate auditoria at the touch of a button to provide one auditorium for 600 and 2 for 300. Simultaneous interpretation booths and full audio-visual equipment are available in each room.
Cromdale Hall
The Cromdale Hall provides 1185 sqm of exhibition space or alternatively the hall can seat up to 850 for a banquet or awards ceremony.
Strathblane Hall
The main entrance to the EICC leads through to the Strathblane hall, a flexible event area which is ideal for registration, exhibition, tea/coffee and receptions.
Break-out Rooms
The conference centre boasts another 4 suites that can be subdivided to create 11 sound-proofed rooms perfect for breakout session, organisers’ offices, catering areas or small exhibitions
Additional function space
Adjacent to the EICC, a project is underway to build an additional area with 2000 sqm of exhibition and meeting space with breakout rooms and a café area due to open in late 2012.
There are disabled toilets on each level, all accessible by lifts. A wheelchair platform lift can be utilised to take speakers onto the stage in the Lomond, Cromdale and Pentland Auditorium.

Surgeon’s Hall

Highlights
A modern lecture theatre incorporating full AV and audience voting system. The venue also hosts a separate multi purpose modern space.
In addition there is a 78 bedroom, 3 star hotel with 4 luxury suites. Guest rates for those attending a conference within the Surgeon’s hall complex.
Facilities
Symposium Lecture Theatre, Symposium Hall and Alistair Duff Room
The Symposium Lecture Theatre seats 158 with the latest AV equipment and audience voting system. The Symposium Hall and Alistair Duff room is ideal for catering and/or exhibition.
There are steps that lead into the hall, however there is a lift to the foyer area that then leads to the auditorium where there is space for wheelchairs.
Quincentenary hall
A modern self-contained venue. The facilities consist of a main hall on the first floor suitable for lectures up to 250 but can also be sub-divided into 2 separate partitioned areas. The room can hold up to 230 for a dinner. A laptop, digital projector, screen, DVD, VHS and internet are available within the room hire costs.
Three separate meeting rooms on the ground floor hold between 20 and 40 people with the above AV included in the room hire cost.
Exhibition and catering area can either be in the reception area or the 3 meeting rooms can be used if no breakouts are required.
There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor and all levels are accessible by a lift. However, there is no disabled access to the stage in the Symposium Auditorium.

Glasgow Royal Concert Hall

Highlights
A purpose built concert venue offering flexible space set in the heart of Glasgow and near to public transport.
Facilities
Main Auditorium
The main auditorium seats 2, 475 with an adaptable stage that can be adjusted to various heights or flattened to create more floor space. Sound and lighting is included in the hire package.
Strathclyde Suite
The Strathclyde Suite has a maximum capacity of 500 in a theatre style format. This room is fully carpeted with a fixed stage, optional dancefloor, removable seating and it’s own sound & lighting systems allowing it to be used for a variety of events.
Exhibition Hall
The Exhibition hall has 420 sq m of floor area. In addition to an exhibition space, the hall can be used for conferences and dinners up to 300 guests.
Buchanan Suite
The Buchanan suite can be used as a smaller meeting space for up to 100 guests. This overlooks the Green room restaurant that can be used for registration and catering for the Buchanan suite.
In addition to the suites, there are various foyer areas that are ideal for receptions for up to 250 guests.
There are disabled toilets on each level, all accessible by lifts. The stage in the Strathclyde Suite is not wheelchair accessible.

Scotland’s first dedicated national centre for Architecture and Design provides a unique venue in the heart of Glasgow, just off Buchanan Street.
Facilities
Gallery 5
The largest of the spaces available at The Lighthouse. Gallery 5 can hold up to 150 guests theatre style or a banquet for 100 guests. During evening events, guests can use the Doocot café bar which is adjacent to Gallery 5.
Vitra Conference Centre
This is a self-contained unit comprising reception area, meeting room for up to 100 guests in theatre style seating and a smaller breakout room.
Mackintosh Centre
Ideal for receptions for up to 100 guests, amidst an exhibition featuring the life and works of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
Viewing Platform
With stunning views of the city centre as the backdrop, the Viewing Platform makes a perfect venue for an intimate dinner for up to 15 guests.
Tower Meeting Room
A more compact space holding up to 10 guests for smaller meetings.
Exhibitions for Hire
For a unique drinks reception, The Lighthouse offers clients the opportunity to hire exhibitions for private viewings.
There are disabled toilets on level 2, 3 and 5 all accessible by lifts.

Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC)
Glasgow, G3 8YW
Highlights
A purpose built venue situated on the north side of the River Clyde in a central location. Since opening in 1985, the venue has expanded to include the Clyde Auditorium which opened in 1997 and holds 3,000 people.
Facilities
Clyde Auditorium
The Clyde Auditorium is located in the Armadillo structure adjacent to the original venue. The 2 buildings are connected via a covered walkway. The Clyde Auditorium holds 3,000 people and is supported by 18 breakout rooms for smaller meetings for 30 – 300 people. The Clyde Auditorium carries all the latest AV equipment that is included in the hire charge along with a technician for the day of your event.
The Loch Suite
The Loch suite is located in the original building. The suite can be used as a self contained conference centre and it comprises registration area, Lomond Suite which holds up to 600 people in tiered seating with full audio visual and technician included in the package and 4 separate breakout rooms holding 200 theatre style in each. The breakout rooms can be sub-divided into 8 rooms, holding 84 in one side and 96 in the other theatre style. As part of the hire package a data projector, screen, lighting, sound and technician are included when the rooms are not partitioned otherwise only one section has audio visual provided. There are 2 additional rooms that can hold 30 theatre style.
The Seminar Suite
The Seminar suite comprises of 4 rooms. Three of the rooms can be used as one larger room holding 200 theatre style. Should the rooms be subdivided 2 can hold 50 and one can hold 100 theatre style. The smaller of the 4 rooms holds 12 theatre style and 14 boardroom style.
The Exhibition Halls
The SECC is renowned for hosting large concerts and exhibitions. There are 5 halls of various sizes. The largest hall is 10,065 sqm and the smallest is 775 sqm providing flexibility depending on the event. The walls can be left bare or can be draped with curtains depending on the event.
There are disabled toilets on each floor of the SECC and all levels are accessible by lifts. A wheelchair platform lift can be utilised to take speakers onto the stage in the Lomond and Clyde Auditorium.

Perth Concert Hall

Highlights
A purpose built venue in the heart of Perth incorporating modern facilities and flexible spaces. Horsecross is an arts and events organisation based at the concert hall.
Facilities
Gannochy Trust Auditorium
The Auditorium seats 1200 people. The space has been designed to be flexible and part of the seating can be removed to create a flat floor space of 560 sqm. This allows the area to be used for banquets up to 350 people, dinner dances up to 250, cabaret style conferences up to 225 delegates and exhibitions. The room comes with a technician and basic AV equipment including sound and lighting.
Norie-Miller Studio
Situated on the ground floor, the room can take 100 people theatre style. However, the room can also be split into 2 separate rooms, holding 50 in one side and 60 in the other. The room has data projector, fixed screen and sound system built in.
Tay Room
The Tay room can hold up to 16 people. The room has a cherry wood boardroom table and executive leather chairs. A data projector, DVD player and induction loop are included.
Tilt and Earn Rooms
The Earn room can hold 40 theatre style and 20 boardroom whilst the Tilt room can hold 50 theatre style and 24 boardroom style.
Almond, Dochart and Tummel Rooms
Small rooms back stage, ideal for dressing rooms. However the rooms can also be used for Conference Secretariat, office or interview rooms.
There are disabled toilets on the ground and first floor and all levels are accessible by a lift. Wheelchair access to the stage is from behind the scenes and not directly from the auditorium.
